Second Presentation -
The Power of Self-Acceptance
Presented By:
Rachel Cipriano
Owner, E3+Fire
Self-acceptance is a necessary component to self-actualization. Much attention is given to the importance of self-esteem; however, self-acceptance is not based
on one’s achievements. Instead, it provides an abiding sense of value in one’s personhood. Those who are secure in themselves are forces to be reckoned with as
they are armed with the freedom to take healthy risks. Unfettered with the fear of not measuring up, they have the ability to soar.

Speaker Information -
Rachel Cipriano
Owner
E3+Fire
Rachel Cipriano is the owner of E3+Fire, a speaking and coaching business designed to energize, enlighten, and equip all who desire a higher caliber of living.
She has a Master's degree in counseling and achieved commendation from both colleagues and supervisors. She is an author currently working on a book that promotes
excellence and significance.
Tenacious, passionate, and devoted are words that give some clue to the temperament and character of the founder of E3+Fire. Rachel was reading
psychology books by the age of 7 determined to make sense of the "colorful characters" with whom she lived. Her childhood was riddled with opportunities to sharpen
her iron will, insatiable curiosity, and zealous quest for authenticity.
She was determined to not let family instability and economic challenges interfere with college plans. Through focus and hard work, she was awarded
scholarships graduating with a Master's degree at the age of 23. While she felt incredibly alone during many of these early years, she is mindful of the unexpected
kindnesses she received through the journey.
After completing her education, she worked in several psychiatric and addiction facilities. During this time, she had the opportunity to engage with
amazing people struggling to overcome substance abuse, self-injury, criminal rehabilitation, mood disorders, as well as, a host of other conditions. She approached
her work with her characteristic compassion and stalwart belief in the ability of the human spirit to triumph despite the darkest of circumstances.
She has been married to her husband Craig for over a decade. They have welcomed two amazing children into the world, and Rachel knows this is her toughest assignment
yet. She is filled with awe each day truly grateful for the tremendous gift of her family.
E3+Fire is the culmination of Rachel's inspiring sojourn through life. She is convinced that life is a priceless gift and wants everyone
to embrace this transforming perspective. She believes her inspiring story, diverse experiences, and life-long commitment to learning provide the ingredients to bring
fresh energy and motivation to all!
